Variously called magic zines, mini zines, one page zines, single sheet zine. This layout lets you make a zine out of a single sheet of paper. Fold it into eighths, cut the center, and it turns into a zine with 8 pages — no binding or stapling needed. People sometimes print a poster on the back.

Upload an 8 page PDF. If you have more or less than 8 pages, Layout Department will add or remove pages at the end of the zine.

Note that pages 1 & 8, the front and back cover, are away from the lead edge of the page. That’s because they are often the most inky/colorful, so it’s good to position them that way in case the print is making multiple passes through the risograph machine.
