Free Community Edition

Has the basic features you need to make a zine or book layout, and export the print files. This is intended for artists with a simple print-practice, small press publishers and small print shops, and beginners at making zines and print publications. To get started, you can download it here.

Paid Version

We are working on a paid version, which will have more features. You might want to get the paid version if you’re an artist publisher or printshop who makes many publications a year, and will enjoy using more of the advanced features and options. We will also ask that universities and large organizations who have the budget for it purchase paid licenses.

We’re planning for it to be a license for updates to new versions for a year, and then the app keeps working after that (without updates) on the last version you updated to before your license expired.

Send us an email to hello @ anemone.studio with the subject line LAYOUT DEPARTMENT TESTING and introduce yourself – tell us what kind of books/booklets you’re making, what types of printer(s) you’re using, send a link to your website/newsletter/other places you share work on the internet.
