Booklet

Booklet  is the default imposition type. It arranges the pages onto the print sheets so that the result can be folded into a “zine” - aka bound via saddle stitching.

If you’re printing 2-up, you just fold in half and bind. If you’re printing more than 2-up, you will cut your sheets first.

You can also split a book into Sections (sometimes also called Signatures) where there are multiple booklets that are then bound together. This is most commonly done with books with many pages, but you might also make sections in order to use different papers within the same book, or for other reasons.
